Understanding Agent Console
Agent Console is a centralised marketplace of AI agents that integrates with Storyteq CMP to automate time-consuming marketing tasks. Unlike other AI tools, Agent Console produces outputs that respect your brand guidelines, usage rights, and governance requirements because agents work from structured context, not just instructions.
What is Agent Console?
Agent Console is a centralised platform where AI agents perform specific marketing tasks using context from your organisation.
Clients expect their Content Marketing Platform to be AI-enabled, providing less friction and less manual work whilst giving access to the latest models. Agent Console addresses this by offering a marketplace of AI agents that can be rapidly deployed to accelerate value delivery.
Agent Console can operate as a standalone product or integrate with Storyteq CMP and Content Automation. When integrated, agents can access your governed asset library, apply your taxonomy, and save outputs back to your DAM.
The primary goal is to build platform foundations for agent orchestration, usage tracking, client management, and future embedded AI capabilities across Storyteq’s products.
How Agent Console differs from other AI tools
The fundamental difference between Agent Console and other AI tools is context engineering.
AI tools rely on prompt engineering: you provide clear instructions and the AI executes them.
Agent Console uses context engineering: you provide instructions, and the system adds brand guidelines, approved assets, usage rights, taxonomy rules, and campaign context before the AI processes your request.
Consider translating marketing copy. With prompt engineering, you write: "Translate this product description to French using a friendly tone." The AI translates the text, but it cannot know your brand’s specific tone of voice guidelines, approved terminology, or regulatory requirements for product claims in France.
With context engineering, the Agent Console translation agent receives your translation request plus your brand’s tone of voice guidelines, approved terminology database, regulatory compliance rules, and campaign context.
The agent produces a translation that aligns with your brand standards without manual review for these criteria.
Governed assets
Agent Console integrates with your DAM to provide agents with access to governed assets.
Governed assets are assets that include metadata defining their usage rights, expiry dates, territorial restrictions, approval status, and permissions.
When an image manipulation agent crops product photos, it works only with assets you have permission to use. It respects usage rights, expiry dates, and territorial restrictions stored in your DAM.
The vision: from destination to capability
Agent Console begins as a standalone application where users select agents and execute tasks.
The long-term vision transforms Agent Console from a destination into embedded capabilities. Agent capabilities will appear directly within DAM and Content Automation workflows, integrating AI assistance into creative workflows without requiring context switching to a separate application.
Brand & Campaign Intelligence
The ultimate evolution replaces uploaded context documents with structured knowledge graphs.
Brand & Campaign Intelligence structures brand guidelines, campaign objectives, approved messaging, usage rights, and regulatory requirements into machine-readable objects. Instead of searching documents for relevant context, agents query precise, relational data.
Agent Console provides the execution and orchestration layer. Brand & Campaign Intelligence provides the knowledge layer. Together, they enable context-aware AI that understands your brand as deeply as your team does.
User roles
Superadmin (Storyteq employees)
Superadmins enable Agent Console for client organisations, configure which agents and AI models are available globally, and monitor platform health.
Client Admin
Client Admins select which agents and AI models their users can access, upload brand context documents, set usage limits, view usage reports, and invite users (in standalone mode).
In integrated mode (with Storyteq CMP), Client Admin capabilities are permissions applied to existing DAM/CMP users.
What Agent Console enables
Agent Console’s initial release focuses on high-value, repeatable marketing tasks:
-
Translation: Brand-aware translation across multiple languages.
-
Copywriting: Generate or refine marketing copy in different styles, structures, and tones of voice.
-
Image manipulation: Object removal/replacement, background removal, image merging, cropping.
-
Video manipulation: Video cropping and trimming.
-
Bulk operations: Process multiple assets simultaneously (e.g., crop 50 images to five aspect ratios automatically).
What’s out of scope
The following capabilities are explicitly out of scope for Agent Console’s initial release:
-
Template rendering: Agent Console does not render templates using Storyteq’s template engines (Content Automation, Entropy, Fusion).
-
Campaign management: Agent Console does not manage campaign objects, briefs, or workflows.
-
Channel distribution: Agents do not publish content to social media or advertising platforms.
-
External system integration: No integration with PIM, CRM, or advertising platform APIs.
-
Autonomous operation: Agents require human initiation and do not execute scheduled tasks automatically.
