Platform Administration permissions

This page specifies the menu items available in Platform Administration and the permissions required to access each one.

The permissions that apply depend on the workspace’s authentication model. A workspace authenticates users through either Keycloak or LUMA. The tables below give the requirement for each model.

Access requirements

The following table specifies the permission required to access each menu under each authentication model. Where a menu requires a LUMA service, that service is required under both authentication models. For caveats that apply to specific menus, see Notes.

Notes

Workspaces

Available only on workspaces that use Keycloak authentication. The menu requires the CMP Admin role in Keycloak.

Project Types

Requires two LUMA services. The Projects service provides visibility of the menu, and the Types service is required to open the Form Builder.

Templates

Requires an associated CA workspace. Without an associated CA workspace, all CA-related menus, including Templates, are hidden.

Users

Managing users, groups, portals, or assets requires Portals > Viewer or Portals > Creator in addition to the Administration > Admin role.
